SaaS Document Management System
Multi-tenant document platform with strict tenant isolation, granular roles, full version history and a bilingual Arabic/English interface — built for organizations that treat documents as assets.
How it happened
Documents everywhere, control nowhere
The client came to me with one sentence: "we don't know who has the latest version of anything." Contracts lived in email threads, approvals happened over phone calls, and every department had its own filing habits.
Multi-tenant, bilingual, zero tolerance for data leaks
This wasn't a single-company tool — it had to serve multiple organizations from one codebase without a single row of one tenant ever leaking into another's view. Add a fully bilingual Arabic/English interface and a real audit trail, and the margin for error dropped to zero.
Isolation by design, not by convention
I built tenant isolation into the database layer itself rather than trusting every query to remember a WHERE clause, added role-based permissions per department, and shipped version history so nobody argued about "the latest file" again. CI/CD via GitHub Actions meant every deploy was tested before it touched production.
From phone calls to a click
Approval time dropped 60% because the right person could see the right document the moment it needed them — not three days later. File retrieval got 40% faster, and for the first time, everyone in the organization was looking at the same version of the truth.
